"Pop", that is what we call our fathers! It isn't something to drink! LOL You drink Coke, Pepsi, Mountain Dew or Dr Pepper, but if you ask for "pop" here you will get strange looks. "Soda" is the correct generic term for carbonated soft drinks! People can instantly recognize an outsider by those people asking for "pop"!

well here if you say "soda" people think your nuts...pop is the correct term in my hillbilly state which i am proud of...

also i started this topic months ago when i was bored in typing class at school so i would sneak onto the forums everyday....it is kinda ironic that it would pop up again during summer and i would get so many replies from it...thanx for everyones input by the way....thats what makes this forum great....

 

i guess i can stand soda-pop. but thats really pushing it. To each his own i guess.
