I say if it is in good shape buy it if you can. ne of my neighbors has one about that year that he uses on the farm. This is not a lie but last time i checked he had a little over 32,000 and had never touched the engine yet. Only thing he had really done to it was bearing, brakes, tires, and i think a clutch so really nothing than normal maintance.

I have to disagree about taking out a loan for a toy. I did it and am only 20 and now have a great credit score. I think its a great way to build credit. As long as you dont get yourself in financial problems over a toy.

If I didn't take out a loan for my toys, I would have nothing! I spend all my extra cash to easily. I also would not have a truck, car, or home for that matter. I just calculate the payments and go with it if I can afford it. If you are on the edge, then dont do it.

If you bought a used Banshee, or most any sport quad, chances are they are ridden a lot harder than a utility. I bought my 300EX new, my first Blaster used, and my current Blaster used. I would never buy new again. I figured in depreciation I lost about $1200 the first year on the Honda. After that both my quads go down maybe $100-$200 per year. Not to mention I paid tax on $4400 for the Honda, and told the DMV I spent $500 on each Blaster
