paint

I've been experimenting with several paints on a set of A-arms. Haven't found anything that's worth your time - pretty much everything I've tried can be easily scratched with a fingernail (various spray paints). I guess if you used an actual automotive paint with a hardner you'd see different results but powder coating is your best bet - but if your just touching up scratches I wouldn't bother. Unless of course you really want to go all out and have the whole frame powder coated a new color.

Use Dupont iron elite it's very high $$ but very durable(if you buy automobile pant) Power coating would be the best for durability but you can't get cool colors, metallics ,or pearls like automobile paint. I just got an 05 400 ex Yellow this winter I wont be riding the sport quad(they ant worth nothing on ice/snow) so I'm going to paint my frame pearl yellow with just an pinch of metallic it should be sweet also if it's true about a turbo that's going on to!!!!!!
