Im just finishing up rebuilding the head on my 86 Honda TRX 350.. but I cant figure out how to time it. is there a mark someplace on the crank? any info is helpful. Also need the tork specs for the head bolts.. thanks!

 

I don't have a manual handy with the torque specs. If no one comes forward with them, call your local dealer for that info.

The flywheel is marked for TDC. Remove the small cap on the side cover and you will find it after turning the flywheel a bit. Line this up.......and line the two hash marks on the cam gear with the top of the head where the valve cover seats. Be sure that you do this with the cam lobes facing DOWN....and not upwards. That's it.
