Aftermarket suspension on the Rancher???
#1
Honda springs their utes very stiff (with a very fast rebound), to maintain the load bearing capacity. I don't really have a need to carry heavy weights, so I am wondering if it is worth getting some plusher aftermarket suspension??? When you are use to riding sport bikes that are suspended for desert racing, utility suspension seems pretty terrible.
Any suggestions?

you noticed that too? The rancher is only a single shock/spring design in the rear, but is still very stiff. I dont know, but i bet the forman is worse. I dont see why you couldnt put softer springs or shocks in one. I dont know if anybody makes anything yet, but it's a thought.

WorksPerformance does, but as I recall they only list one very basic model. Still, those guys will set you up with anything you want. Just looking for anybody out there with any first hand experience with those or anything else.
My buddy put Progressive Suspension on his old 300, and it is now worse than stock.

This guy makes a kit to put 400 ex shocks on a rancher I think.
