Been having trouble with the plugs getting fouled up. Battery is charged. Have a K&N filter on it with Whites E Series Muffler. Any thing need to be done to get this to start better and not have to pull the plug every time. When it runs, it runs fine.

I did just have a fuse replaced. Ran it pretty hard for a couple hours. Went back the next day and will turn over but wont start. I probably should check for any bare wires.

general01,
Welcome to the forum.....Sounds to me like you are running on the rich side.
Have you ran this thing on intial start up or during normal riding with the airbox lid taken off?? This should help you enough to get you back on the trails (stay out of mud and water) until you get time to sit down for a few hours and get your jetting just right. Just be sure to jet with the lid on unless you plan to keep it off. A completely tuned and dialed in jetting job does wonders for performance and is what really compliments your mods. Night and day difference in most cases.

A plug fouling problem willonly be caused by what goes on inside of your engine unless you are experiencing an intermitent break in the grounding of the coil.

To eliminate this, just take the plug out and check to see if you are getting a continuous fire from it. Ground it to the head...and since i don't know your mechanical knowledge.....just in case.....don't hold onto it.

What size pilot jet are you running? With those mods you should move up to a 42 pilot... and your main should be around a 155-165 for starters, then do plug checks to see if it's close.

I haven't taken the airbox lid off, and with regards to the jetting i don't know. I really don't know what's been done to the machine. Bought it from someone last year with the mods already on it. Just never really ran right since I got it. The think would run for about 20 seconds and quite. The fuse was the problem. Ran it the day after getting fixed. Started good and ran good. Now it won't go. Really don't know if the carbs been messed with at all.

If jetting is needed. One, what brand of jet is good and two, how easy is it to do yourself.
