If I'm not mistaken, when the Rancher first came out, they had a stop production on them for a short while because of something to do with the frame! It was posted, and talked about on this forum. Kind of makes you wonder if that's true, why so many got out there. Jeff, 00 Rancher TE ( on the recall list ), 97 Recon.

 

There was a recall on the Ranchers cause of a missing weld on one of the a-arm mounts. I know of only 2 Ranchers that broke cause of this.
