I know they make the old style 400ex for 2005 not sure on 2006...The newer model 400ex has reverse updated plastic looks more like the 450r and I beleive it has a bigger carb...so it's prolly a little faster also. You should maybe also consider buying a used 400ex like a 2002-03 maybe...might save a little money and still have a great machine....you never know maybe a year or so from now you might find yourself craving more power and jump right up to a 450!

 

Well in that case i may just get a z400 or a kfx400. Right now i have an ozark and im craving a fast ride. I can even pop up and ride a pretty long wheelie on it. Im anxious to make the move up, but i dont want to make too big of a step up, i think a z/kfx would be a nice move.

 

I am a big fan of Honda but I have to admit I would spend my bucks on a z400 over the new 400ex. By the way, the Raptor is very expensive to own. Parts are more expensive when something does break.

Ya see i am a very indecisive person. I had a very hard time deciding utility and sport. And even now that i decided sport, im still debating between the 2....But it sounds like some people get bored with a utility after a while. My bro has an eiger and its so fun to ride around. Last night [Thursday night] we got it stuck in a swamp so we had to get our jeep. When we got that stuck we had to get our truck, it was crazy fun tho.Back to the topic...The raptor seemed like a good idea at first but the more i read the more under powered it seemed. So if i get a sport it would be the z, but again, im still kind of debating sport/utility. I usually just cruise feilds and some mud bogs so i think the Z would be better than any utility.....i think

Maybe a stock one. I would go for one of the 400s myself if it were me. They smoke the Rappy 350.
