Where can I get a winch mount for a rancher? Not many sights carry them, and they are confusing. And does the mounting plate come with the roller that you put on the front bumper?

Thanks.

This subject has been addressed plenty in Utility Quads and Other Quad Topics, but I offer this suggestion:

Make it yourself, I did, it was easy and inexpensive. Then order the Roller Fair Lead from Cablea's.

With Aluminum Plate, Clamps and Roller Fair Lead you should have no more than about $45.00 in it and it is a custom mount that will fit under the hood of the quad making it more protected and clean.

Go visit my yahoo link below and take a look.

I made mine for about $10 (Cdn). That included the U - bolts to attach it to the frame.

The fairlead was extra, of course, and it required a seperate mounting bracket which I made for about $3.

If I can do it anyone can. Just take your time with the measurements. Remember, measure twice and cut (or drill) once.

The downside to making an under the plastic mount is, when you are done, the airflow to your oil cooler will be reduced. This does not seem to have been too much of a problem so far but it does merit consideration.

I got mine from: http://www3.ns.sympatico.ca/atcharleys/, about $90 US delivered.

He does not list the Rancher but does have them. They come with the roller fairlead and fit very well.
