Hey!

Just put Herculiner in my truck box (looks and works great!) Had some left over, and looked over at the scratched up rack on my Wolverine, long story short, only took a few minutes to dab it on with a brush,it is a little lumpy with all the rubber particles, but works great! keeps stuff from sliding around, is very quiet when metal stuff is on the rack, and is real tough. Too bad it only comes in black, red to match my frame would have been cool.

Jerry Mettner,95 Wolverine, 98 Recon for my son.

It really works great. I highly recommend that you lightly sand your racks before applying, it helps it to adhere a little better.

I saw this stuff on a guy's rack and bought some to try, but never got around to buying the solvent to clean up afterward.

I liked the idea enough to get some.

That may be a good project for today .. I'll let 'ya know.

Okay .. project complete .. all I can say is the instructions were accurate .. get the supplies you need before starting .. *Do* use the rubber gloves! ... I needed plenty of solvent to clean up with during and after, and to keep the mixture from thickening up during application .. about half a can did the trick for two coats.

This stuff does change the looks of your racks, and now I've got enough left over to touch up spots where I bulldoze my way through the woods.
