I installed a warn 424 kit on my 2004 rubicon. How important is it to have the ANTI- ROTATION STRAP installed so that there is no rotation in the unit? I could not find a location on my frame to connect the strap to that would not allow the unit to rotate at all in either direction. Is this strap used to keep the unit completely tight from rotating at all or to just keep the unit from doing a full rotation? Any help is appreciated.

Install it. It does not matter if there is some "play" in the unit. The main objective is to keep it from spinning around completely, taking the cable with it and potentially messing up some internal and external parts VERY BADLY.
