Default RUST dripping from Rubicon's Back rack

I have a brand new (2 months) Rubicon 05 and RUST is dripping on the fenders from the the pinched tubes of the backrack ever since day one;

Now rust is coming out of the welded joints;

I suspect a bad pre-painting treatment; does anyone have the same issue with their new Honda racks;

Should this rack be replaced under waranty.... I will review this issue with my dealer at my next servicing;

Please advise,

I THINK I spelled it wrong but its just rust proof paint that stops rust. I usually do it to mine because they don't paint inside the frame.

My 05 Rancher does the same thing, so does my friends. There seems to be small weep holes near the joint welds, I took some silicone and sealed up the holes, that fixed the problem.
Later...

Sealing up the drain holes is a bad idea, itll only make the rusting worse. The rusty water is just a symptom, fixing the symptom doesnt fix the problem. The weep holes are there to let the water and moisture out, and dry air in. The only way to stop the rusting is to let air dry it out. Sealing it up, only garentees it will rust.
You could try some wd 40...this will displace the water and leave an oily film, which will bead water away. But once rusts starts...its almost impossible to stop. Ask anyone whos restored an old car.
