Default Bigfoot tires

I seem to be having more trouble on mud slick creek banks getting traction. There is about 1/2" + of lug left. Think it's time for new tires for my 1996 Honda 300 4 x 4?

fi their the origional tires then yes more than likely you need new tires. Just a new set of all terrain tires will make a world of difference. Something like the holeshot atr is a very good tire but if you want to go the more mud oriented route may i suggest the bridgestone mud hooks. although ive never rode oon them they look to be a very capable tire. The tire actually the same tread pattern that came on my 2001 rancher just with about 1 1/4 inch worth of lugs on the new ones.
