What would cause it to start and run good for 5 min then just die and not start for an hour or sometimes you have it running for 10-15 min shut it off then go to start it and it wont start ?

 

I would guess that you are having a fuel delivery problem. When it doesn't start does it turn over? Have you done anything with your carb or quad lately? Did you get any water in the carb or gas? There may be some type of trash in it. You could remove it, take the bottom cover off and clean everything really well and blow air through the passages to clear any type of debris out of it.
