Default 250r rear brake issue

im having some difficulty in bleeding the rear brakes on the R. i put the fluid in the resivior and pump the brakes the fluid gets to the master cylinder (recently rebuilt) and it will not pump out of the master cylinder into the hose leading to the caliper. how ever if i put my finger on the outlet hole of the master cylinder to build up pressure fluid will come out when i pump it a few times. leading me to believe that the master cylinder is all good. i think the hose leaveing the master cylinder seems to be in good shape (no leaks) and also if i hook up the entire system and loosen that bleed screw on the caliper i can hear air coming out but no fluid. i am just puzzled why the hell the fluid will not get to the hose leading to the caliper. i was thinking about getting one of those pumps to pump the fluid through that screw up through the caliper up through the hose to the master cylinder but who knows?? can someone please advise.

Pump the pedal 3-4 times, hold it down, open bleeder, close bleeder, release pedal.Repeat until fluid comes out the bleeder. You may have to do this several(and I mean several times) to get the air out. These little systems can trap alot of air.

Try taking the brake line off the caliper and pumping the pedal to see if fluid comes thru.
