I just got this about 3 weeks ago.I am planning on changing the rear tires.Looking at the center hole of the rim there looks to be a seam.Are these rims 2-piece rims?Or am I looking at a machine mark?Just wanted to know what to expect when I unbolt them for the first time.

 

No they are one piece.

You are somewhat right though. They are two pieces that have been welded together. If/when you take the tire off, you will see the weld bead.
