I HEARD THAT THERE IS A NEW 250R 0UT. DID ANY0NE ELSE HEAR THIS? IF S0, WHERE CAN IT BE SEEN?? I HAD A WEBSTIE GIVEN T0 ME, BUT I ACCIDETALLY DELETED IT!

 

Its made by Service Honda (servicehonda.com), not Honda. Its just a 400ex with a 2001 CR250 dirtbike engine....its mean no doubt, but not worth the $9,000 price tag.

 

Look in the June 2005 issue of ATV Action.It has a whole thing about it.It is made by service honda and if you have a 2005 400EX they can turn it into a 250R for $4999 or give you a brand new one for $8999.That is without options like porting,zero preloading shocks,Lonestar a arms and swingarm,braided brake lines...etc.

yo dude that R is pretty sharp...i miss the good ole days. everything was so simple. gas, spark, and compression and it should atleast fire up. now we got whole ignition systems, EFI, and i bet cruse control before long!!!

Thanks, I appreciate it. I grew up around these so I had to have a bad one! My dad has had 4 over the years and 2 ATC250Rs. I remember going riding when I was a kid and all of our family friends had TRX250Rs, LT250Rs, Banshees, and one guy even had a Tecate. I love having something that most people don't expect to still see runin around on the track!
