can easily be done.... Service Honda uses a 400ex frame and sloaps a 250r motor in it. I pretty sure they make little or no changes to the frame... check out the website

I know for sure Lonestar makes an aftermarket chassis, since I happen to have one, but they are very spendy. I believe it will accept stock shocks but if you are going to invest that much you might as well upgrade your shocks too
