I was looking on Honda's site and noticed all the bikes show an 06 listing except the Rincon. That got me thinking! Pretty much all the other manufactures have there 06's out. I know Honda can be a little slow and sneaky! I was wondering if anyone new anything or had heard any credible rumors? I a looking for new quad and don't want to jump the gun!

Obviously the Rincon is getting updated enough to warrant an unveiling at the dealer show, which takes place in early September. I would wait a few months to see what Honda does with the Rinny. After all, we're already in late June, what's another two months?

Yeah that is what I was affraid of. I really want a KQ and now is the time with financing/warranty offers. However, I've said it before and I'll say it again, A a Honda is a Honda! I am wanting to get rid of my current ride while the getting is good! So now I am left to ponder, and that really hurts

That's a tough one. Sell it now and get a KQ, or wait a few months and risk disappointment and depreciation. This is just me, but I would wait the two months and cover all options. We already know what all the other OEM's will offer for 2006, except for Honda. What if they decide to install low range and front disc brakes on the Rincon? That would make it hard to beat, wouldn't you think?
BTW, what's the problem with your AC?

No matter how long Honda seems to hold out or how much consumers hold their collective breath, Big Red seems to be doing nothing but fumbling the ball in the ATV realm these days, quite frankly and honestly. Now believe me, I love Hondas, I grew up on Hondas and Hondas will always have a place in my heart because I do believe they are the most dependable, longest-lasting ATVs out there. However, when it comes to performance and features.......it seems like they're putting all the R&D into their dirtbikes with the exception of the 450R, but that has a CRF450R engine in itI myself am tired of waiting on Honda in the sport-utility segment and will probably be the owner of a KingQuad before June is out. The thing is, even if Honda unveils radical changes or a whole new model this fall for the big-bore utility department, it will probably still fall short of what the others are capable of. If you're wanting an all-out, pure sport-utility I would wait and see how the new Bombardier Outlander 800 V-twin turns out. The reviews have been very good, but not credible. The choice is yours and I really do hope Honda jumps back into battle with guns blazing, but if they do like they have in the past, they'll be bringing a knife to the gunfight. RedGoblin= 2 cents

As for the AC I am not bashing it or AC I beleive AC is Good ATV and will one day be great just need more R&D and organization! Having said that, here are my problems with my 650, I have had a few ! Broke an axle, wheel bearing(other side), engine seal, on 4th belt, Start in gear/brake harness, Limp mode/RF filter, Handles like a barge, the paint is coming off the frame, choke cable broke twice, all less than 500 miles. I am not hard on it honestly I know what it sounds like but I am not. Every time I go to the dealership same old line, your parts are back ordered. I can think of twice when it was in the dealership for over a month do to parts! A lot of my problem is the dealersip, hence my belt problems. But all that goes back to AC's lack of organization on ATV's, everytime I go to my Dealer I educate them on my AC from this forum! Most of the problems were little but all at inconvienent times in front of my buddies who bash it and me for buying it!
My only concern is the "New Honda" will be outragously priced do to the fact it is thier new "beast"! The king is like 6500 with great financing right know! And yes an updated Rinny would be, well in my garage!

Yeah, you reminded me about another part of it that I've preached for awhile. Honda makes motorized vehicles to make money. The number of people I've talked to that bought a Honda because it was a Honda is ridiculous. A lot of the people that buy them don't even care about features. Hell, they may as well not even have salesmen at the dealerships, just guys to push paper and type on computers. If Honda continues to be the best-selling ATV out there, which I believe they still are but I could be wrong, they probably aren't going to change anything radically. Although doubtful, hopefully the sales will begin to slip and fall behind one or two competitors and jump start Honda to REALLY regain their ATV supremacy. I believe they can do it, they just don't want to or really need to right now.
