battery question
#1
The battery on my Son's 02 450 Foreman has died. Are cheaper, Walmart batteries good, or should I buy a Honda battery from a dealership. I find it strange that the battery hasnt lasted longer. My 98 Suzuki 500 still has its original.

I believe you will find that the battery in your atv may be a Yausa. I had one
last 7 years prior to changing it in my 93 honda. The new one is now 5 years
old. I ordered it over the internet for 51 dollars att. That was still 20 less than
local. I had it come for Calif to Maine in a little over 3 days. No express. I
think the Yausa batteries are great.. Local atv dealerships should have them
but more pricey.

DO NOT GET THE WAL-MART ONE!!!!!!!!! I have ran into this a number of times!!!!!! In the wal-mart ones the plates are not attached good enough, and if it involves bumpy ridding, then stay away from them! They are OK for a car, but lawnmowers, atv's, jet ski's, ect. are too rough for them!

I have noticed that a "cheap" battery is about half the weight of a factory Yausa battery. It seems they are lighter, because they aren't as good. You can get three cheap ones for the price of a good battery, but it will take 4 to out last the better OEM model.
