Hey, quick question, I am rebuilding the top end on my friends 01 300 ex.
The cylinder has a taper on it, and it needs bored.
Is the cylinder plated, or does it have an iron liner?
Just bore and install or do i need to have it replated?

 

They have liners not a coating so bore away.
