Default Possible to Paint plastics?

I didn't know exactly where to put this, so i would decided i would rather talk to honda guys. I was wondering if there is anyway to paint the plsatics on my 250R. I know they're plastic, so i'm not sure if the paint would stick or not. Any help would be appreciated, especially if you have done it.

If you ride thru the woods alot its just gonna scracth off. But you can try it in a small area and if it works good but if it doesnt just scrape it off.

try a spray paint called fusion or something its supposed to work on plastic. i used it on the gas tank cover of my 400ex it worked good but it eventually chipped off, probably because i didnt apply the coats how it said to. so i bought a maier one

Default Possible to Paint plastics?

While it is possible to paint the plastic the results mostly are not too hot. Some of the new plastic paints will work but on someting like a quad that is subjected to trees, rocks and brush it mostly will not hold up very well. In the long run you really are better off saving up and buying new plastic. If you do try and paint it follow the instructions to the letter, prep is always the MOST important part to painting anything - Good luck with your project
