yes they handle a large person I am around 240 and my brother is 6'1 320 pounds and it goes just as fast we both have 2003 and I also have a 2005 and it dont mater we can go side by side all day. I am very happy with the work and play you can do with a rubicon.

oh and I have never had a problem on the drum brakes and I have had three recons two 450s and two rubicons and they all get riden in mud water and any thing you could ride in. I had one of the recons for three years and it was mainly riden in the river and streems in my area same with a 450 I had for three years. I just think it is how you maintane them.

Cirviver, what size width tires do you have on the backs? I'm considering that same setup but I think the 10's would be better than 12's

I have 26 x 12 x 12 on the rear and 26 x 10 x 12 on the front. This setup works great for me.

propnut,
I am not sure about the offset. I have never really payed attention to the offset difference b/w the stock wheel and the C series. My rear's don't really stick out but the front's do. I will compare the offsets tonight and let you know.
