Have you added anything to your machine like an exhaust or air filter? If so, it needs to be re-jetted.

If no mods were done to the engine, it should not need to be re-jetted. You may just have a piece of trash in your carb that is clogging the jet that controls your idle. I would clean the carb and see if that fixes it.

ok, check this... took the ruby to the dealer the second time for stalling, he calls me back today and says the stalling problem i am experiencing is how all of honda's autos behave. he said i could get on anyone in the lot, hold it open jam on the brakes and they all would go dead. he said he even called honda about it. i said bull and called honda. worthless call. they said i shouldnt be riding it like that and that some may do it and some may not. i ended up hanging up on her. she even said they were not technicaly trained. what good? anyway gonig to test drive some in am. any thoughts ,i'm really p.o.'d

I can tell you that my Rubi has never died on me when I am at full throttle and then let off and hit the brakes. The only time that it has died on me is when I was trying to load it on the trailer while it was still cold and I didn't have the choke on.
