hi guys i know yall get tons of tire ?s but i want to put 26 mudlights on my 2005 380 rancher 4x4 and just wanted to make sure it wouldent damage the drive train. dose any one here have 26s on their rancher? dose it bog it down to much? i know ive got to get new rims the only thing i dont like about this awsome quad is the darn rim size. no one makes good after market mud tires for Front Tires 24 x 8-12 and

didn't you mean a 350 rancher? instead of 380?
anyways, 26's is pretty much the borderline on bigger tires, and yes you will lose some power. that power can be brought back by putting a high-flow air filter and exhaust and a jet kit on the bike, but it will only help so much without actually having to tear into the engine and stuff. if you go with the correct size tires, it should not damage the drivetrain at all, just dont go with smaller tires in front and big tires on back with the 4x4, the tires will scrub and cause excessive wear on the differentials.

i have an 1995 honda 300 fourtrax 4x4 with a highlifter lift kit and 26 inch mud lites and it still goes pretty good it goes faster than my dads rancher that has a lift kit and 25 inch goodyear mudrunners and his doesnt have that much lost power and the mud lites are lighter than the 25 inch mud runners.
