I just Purchesed a 440 kit for my 400ex. I bought the wiseco 11:1 with hot cam stage 2. i have been reading all the posts about what to re-jet to but they are all different! I live on the coast and ride where i am only feet from the ocean. i have a stock carb right now with a 155 main and the needle droped one clip. I have a White Bros. e-series pipe, K&N with no lid and a white bros high rev box. Can someone please tell me what jets to put in my stock carb

umm try the main jet like a 235 or something like that!! and the other jet i have no idea you just got to mess around with them take the fron plastics off and gas tank then mess with the jets then put put the gas tank on dont bolt ot down mabe 1 bolt and ride it around the yard you will know when its running right

let me know how it goes!

 

i say just go with 450r carb thats what i did and so far its one of the most power gain ive gotten so far

ive got an edelbrock set up for 440 . it came off a 440 and ran great. i got it because a friend needed money. i tried it out on my wifes 416 but it runs a little to rich even with the smallest rod. its for sale if anybody is interested.
