My brother had a yamaha warrior with a K&N filter precharger and the whole package and a white brothers e series full pipe. And i wasnt very impressed with the power.Do you think this warrior could compete with a stock honda 400ex power wise etc etc? Thanks

More than likely, no. The Warrior is around 10HP down from a stock EX at the back tires and weighs more, shouldn't be a contest...

It's gonna take much more than a pipe and filter to make up for that.

Whew, I just had to decide between the warrior or 400ex a week ago, but after seeing this I KNOW I made the right choice!

The Warrior was a good quad in its day but it is just to heavy for its available power. A 400ex only costs about $800 more. You can still have loads of fun on a Warrior but i just dont see getting a new one with the 400 only costing $800 more, unless you are Blindly brand loyal or really need reverse.
