Remove the red plug in the front drums. There is an adjuster for each brake shoe, so there is two adjusters in each front wheel. The rear are adjusted by tightening up the wing nuts on the end of the cables by the rear drum.
The squeek might be dirt in the drums.

Probably a little moisture causing light rust on the drums. The first bit of braking will remove it. I usually take off the drum to clean everything up inside and check the seal on the drum to prevent leaks (water in the drums). Also inspect the vent lines comming out of the drums, if one gets torn, its a place for a leak. Having the drum off gives you a chance to see how the adjusters work and makes it easier to understand what you doing when you adjust the brakes through the inspection hole later (hole with the red plug).
