Raptor is good for nothing

Can you say rider should have started out on something less powerful. He obviously could not handle that machine. is this his first race? first quad? allot of question that need to be asked before making a blanket critism of a machine and why it was made. I saw a guy in high school bought a brand new 250r 3 wheeler , took it off his truck started it dumped the clutch landed upside down , he went a foot on his first ride , i guess the 250r is crap and who needs it?

Motorhead,
I'm sorry, i just have to laught cause i know someone who acts exactly like the one you mentioned. He has a KX250 and he swears he soars through the air when in reality he never really leaves the ground! Its so funny but he honostly believes he soars despite everyone who tells him otherwise.

a -2 swing arm improves steering quickness and handling tight areas. it makes the front end lighter, causing it to wheelie more. tt racing is a tight circle track usually paved. i cant remember what tt stands for, time trials or someting. hope i helped.

I have always been a honda fan, both bikes and wheelers, throughout the years.I also work at a Yamaha dealership LoL.I have almost unlimited access to a demo Raptor and Im sorry to say that my 88' 250R has been collecting alot of dust lately.I'll never get rid of old red but when I finish it off this winter to prepare for my first motocross season I want to by a quad for the trails. I think it might be a raptor if in the long run they dont have big problems.I commend Yamaha for their effort to keep high performance wheelin'alive.Back to the comment.I dont know of any aftermarket company that makes a wider axle for the Raptor. It is too narrow for flattrack racing in stock form as is any other atv.If this guy infact did use his stock axle to flattrack he is very brave or very stupid. You may laugh out the other side of your helmet when they come out with a whole arsenal of aftermarket components for the Raptor. 88'250R stock frame and transmission the rest is aftermarket.Raptorproof (for now)
