What the hell is wrong with a Polaris/????? why don't you quad bashing guys shut up and ride????? i'm gettin sick of this crap.

 

I'm not a quad basher. If you look at the previous post you will see one. As far as Polaris, i dont have anything against them but in the high performance world they have nothing that can be compared to the 250r. I rode all weekend, how about you?

The Raptor is too tippy for my blood. Who wants to waste all their stamina leaning off the thing in every high-speed corner just too get the thing to corner flat? Not me. To me, if the 400EX had the Raptor motor or Honda's 650XL motor, it would be a far superior machine. And if the 400EX had a two-stroke, it would be unbelievable.

 

There are some guys on the Polaris forum who are talking about a 400 Scrambler beating a Raptor.

That's really funny coming from a Polaris rider. No, you didn't... just why does it matter what he rides??? If he rode a super modified TRX500R, would you say, That's really coming from a tricked out TRX500R rider.. I THINK NOT

 

Some people just appear lazy and want to sit straight up and drive straight into a corner. Just lean, it aint tippy. As far as other quads being better I have a 63HP 97 Polaris Sport. My raptor tears it a new one in every thing but a Drag race. But then again Thats the power I used to wip up on Mod banshees in drag races. Still Its HIGHLY Modified for Drag Racing. Raptor Is stock, and Guess what? I havent ridden the sport other than to move it around in the Garage. Its My Girlfriends ride now. I can tell you this a stock or piped polaris is a long ways from beating a raptor any where. It takes porting, bore, piston, head, reeds, spacer, carb, 100 octane gas,pipes and a roller clutch kit to beat it. And thats a chunk of cash to beat a stock ATV in a drag race.
