Honda 450R WOW

You can see in my signature file that I've owned a few quads. A friend came over today with a 450R.
That quad is super fast. I knew it would be fast, but was amazing. Too much power for me.
Hats off to Honda for making a great quad. It's much faster than my 400ex.

The prairie pulled very hard I thought.
The 650 prairie beat my 400 ex easily.
The 450 R is scary fast.
I was testing it on pavement. I came easy out of first and didn't hit it until 2nd gear because I didn't want to flip it. Once in 2nd gear I nailed it and went open through 4 th gear. That was enough for me.

I wouldn't say twice as hard, but the prairie is clutched to have a ton of torque and it felt very powerful for a large and heavy quad.

No I have not. I have dispatched a piped Blaster, but that's not really much to talk about. It's funny you asked because I have a guy that has a 650 Prairie that wants to race me. He has a Highlifter ICM, 28" Mudlights and an HMF Utility Exhaust with jets. I'm stock except for the winch, which won't affect anything in a race. I'm curious as to the outcome. I know he'll take me off the line, but I'm wondering how much the Mudlights will hinder him. Everyone, including him, seems to think I'll get completely spanked, but I'm just not so sure.......
