if honda does put the electric start on the 450r i pray they leave the kick for a backup start.....theres nothing worse than watching my friends batterys die with no backup.

ya i heard this somewhere too
Would love to see them add EFI to that mix. That would really throw a curveball to the racing industry and everyone hyped about the new LTR450.

BTW, for all you 650ex dreamers out there holding your breath.....Honda has seen the blue in your faces and soon you will be able to exhale and enjoy.

I was handed some new info from a reliable source today. I make no promises, but can tell you that Honda has been paying attention to the big bore sport market.

While that's certainly good to hear, we have had several insiders post promising statements like these in years past and they turned out to be incorrect. I very much appreciate TPRs insight, but I myself will have to wait until September to start believing that a 650EX truly is in Honda's future. It would be sweet though

I took that same tone with knowsalot one or two years back after he was incorrect on some information and I regretted it after I realized what I'd done. I learned from my mistake. These guys that get the inside information aren't always going to be 100% correct. Once you scold them for getting something wrong just once, think about how willing they're going to be to give out potential info next year....
