ok well heres the problem i cant get this thing to start and its rly starting to p!ss me off.....its a 2002 that i bought used and it ran fine all up until 3 daysd ago ...see i let it sit all week long cuz i was on vay-k and when i got home i tried to start it and all i got was this wineing noise and it sounds like it was trying to turn over but it just wont do it and then today i was working with it some more and now whenever i push the start button it doesnt make a noise for like 30seconds and then it wines and tries to start and stops doing anyhting agien......i was gonna cheak the spark plug but that shouldent be it cuz i just put a new one in a couple of weeks ago....do u guys have any ideas i gotta get this thing running soon its killing me just to see it sitting there

 

try geting a new batt. or if you can charge the old one or just buy a new one you can start it bu pushing it or haveing some one push you and jump start it but check the batt

 

i dont think its the batt but ill try jumping it off my truck

 

I just bought my 300ex not to long ago and had the same problem..It could possibly be flooded bc i was told that if 300ex's r left sitting for a while, they flood out unless u turn off the gas when ur done riding (could just be mine"?") ...what I* did to get mine goin was put a new battery in just to be safe(80$) , put a new spark plug in, and i turned off the gas an tryed getting it going...this way while your trying to get it going you dont have more gas flooding ur sh*t out.. you can also try the easy route and spray some good old starter fluid in ur air box and try starting it while doing so... hope this helps ya out...

 

i got it running today guys im not sure what it was but for some reason it jkust fired right up but i would just like to thx u for your help
