What brand of Brain Bucket do you wear? what are your opinions of it? Maybe a cost also if you can remember. My Helmet is a HJC (dont know what model) that i've been wearing for the past 5 yrs. it has some battle wounds and a couple light crashes on it and i want to get a new one.

Thanks

Steve

I wear a HJC, CL-5, without the chin protection. Just preference, has visor and of course, chin strap. One of the guys that ride with us has a KBC with full chin guard that looks racey and safe. One day while riding on a dirt bike trail, he's on his Trail Boss 250, ***** out, hit a stump that sent him flyin' one way and the quad the other. He end up eating plenty of black dirt and the ***** were by now, truely hanging. Now that I think about it, that chin guard does work pretty good...
Chuck, Suzuki KQ 300, GPS & lunch...

My Shoei was involved in a head-on with a dirt bike in Jan. so although it had no visible damage, I didn't trust the liner after that. I replaced it with an Arai Pro & I like it even better than the Shoei, Being carbon fiber it is very light and well ventilated, a big plus in Az. The Arai runs a little more money, but hey, it's your head!
