Default Does the Rubicon benefit from aftermarket products?

Hello:

Will exhaust modifications, Dyno-jet kits, Air filters, or cam changes ext. help and be utilized by the programmed transmission of the Rubicon?
I am asking this question because I read that the tranny was programmed for the stock engine configuration and had no way to detect and adjust for the effects of any modifications, does this make sense?

Thanks

Wherever or whoever told you the transmission was "programmed" for anything doesn't have a clue what it/they are talking about. Yes, all the modifications you mentioned will indeed help, with the cam probably being the best bang-for-the-buck. I'm not sure, but you may get full potential from the cam only if you compliment it with the exhaust/intake modifications as well.

RedRobin:

How well do you like your KingQuad? How well is the engine braking down hill?
What kind of gas mileage do you get? Is it very stable verses being tippy? I am looking to replace my Rincon and I am looking at the KingQuad and Rubicon as options, any advice. I for sure want great down hill engine braking, where I ride it is essential.

Thanks
