Hi guys I'm new to the site. New @ working on my honda 300ex which is older (1997). I am having issues with it and someone suggested rebuilding the carb. I cant get the carb off the bike. I have the carb disconnected from the machine but i cant figure out how to get the throttle cable off. Any suggestions?

I searched online and of course I dont have the owners manual.

You have to remove the cover on the right side of the carb. Remove the two screws and the cover will come off. After that you just have to undo the cable on the inside.
