My neighbor has a 96 Ranger with a regular sized bed. The quad will fit but the front wheels wont fit between the fender wells so we gotta drag it up and over them.

How narrow is your bed?

My friend had a step-side Ranger and just BARELY (widthwise) fit a 2000-2001 Yamaha Big Bear (stock) in there. Sorry I can't help more than that but at least it give you something to compare it to.

i drive a 96 ranger, its not a step side. My kfx400 fits in there perfectly but im certain that my quad wouldn't fit if the bed was a step side. But i did once see a guy stick a new polaris sportsman 700 in the back of his Lightning and thats a step side.
