Anybody know how to repair cracks in plastic? This is not at a stress point - it's on edge of the fender of my 85 TRX 250. My tiedown strap bent it too far.

If you don't have access to a plastic welder, than I drill a small hole at each end of the crack to stop it from cracking further. Next drill two holes (one on either side of the plastic) just big enough for a zip tie to go through it. Then run the zip tie (same color as plastic) through and pull it tight. Continue every 1" to 1 1/2" all the way up the plastic. Looks just like stitches. Remember to run the zip tie up from the bottom, so the only thing you see from the top is a small section of the zip tie.
