Does the ruby hit the rev limiter when goig down a hard pack road full blast like my 450 and 350 do at 50 mph and hold you at a certain speed?I wish I had the answer but I still have to wait for at least till the end of november!

HellifIknow! I've had it up to 54 mph, witha little throttle left (and it was still accelerating), so I can't honestly say. It would make sense if they did that on the 450's. Course, I may be considered "old" for saying this, but 50+ miles on that bike is faster than I want to maintain for longer than a few seconds. I follow the old Harley creed: Live to ride, but ride to live!

Lovinhonda-What speed did you hit the rev limiter at? How many miles do you have on it?

I'm sure it has a rpm limiter but I have yet to hit it and I've done 59mph.

I have never even herd a rubie run, but hondas rev limiters are hard to here. My 200SX hits it at 40MPH (visible on my tiny tach that instantly reads half the RPM when it hits, as it climbes to 5,999 RPM then just as it his 6,000 the tach reads 3,000) but it will still rev to 50 while misfireing every other powerstroke.

I've had it pinned at 57 mph and not hit the limiter but I sure wasn't getting any more speed out of her either.
