Blasterman200, are you kidding? Are you half asleep? There is no way a 400ex can beat a 250r. No fourstroke will ever beat a two stoke.

WTF was that about fmfblaster??? hey guess what a stock 400ex will burn your blaster....a 400ex is like 5 mph slower than an R on top speed......and I know plenty of 4 strokes that will beat 2 strokes....anyways blaster man get the R......I should be gettin one here in a few months too..... later

I didnt ask if ask if a 400ex could beat a Blaster.That is a no brainer. What I asked was if a 400ex could beat a 250r.

 

Stock v. stock. .. the R would win. It has a lower center of gravity than the 400, more hp by 10, and weighs less by 50+ lbs. Top speed is about the same.
But. ..
for very little money the R will gain lots of hp. Just add a pipe and silencer, air filter, jetting, etc. and now it has close to 50hp with just bolt-ons.
