important question..
If the throttle is hard to use or sticking, the cable is cracked and frayed then it is probobly time for a new one. They aren't that expensive and could save you some trouble. Is the carb leaking alot out of the overflow tube? Are you having difficult start ups? Is the bike bogging/hesitating during acceleration? Rough idleing? All are signs that it might be time for a good carb cleaning or rebuild. Whats the problem with your bike?
