Hey everybody need some advice on what to get for tires. I have a 1987 trx250x I bought this new in 87 and I finally need new tires I was wondering if the holeshots would work for this. I just trail ride and race the other guys you know in the woods and gravel pit or sand pit and in the winter I trail ride on the snowmobile trails for braggin rights and also do a little mud runnin in spring and fall. The size on there now are 22x10x9 OHTSU would going to holeshot xct 22x11x9 be better then holeshot 20x11x9 what would be pros and cons or do you recommend something else? any and all advice or opion needed

and holeshots are the best tire for the riding you describe. I would get 20 inchers on the rear if you're not that worried about ground clearance. If not get 22's.

Holeshot HD's (20x11x9). They are 6-ply, and have some side wall lug to them for getting out of ruts.

 

I would go with the holeshots just remeber the bigger the tire you buy will make you come out of the hole slower ( take off slower )
