Let us know if you feel a shift of torque and power from low/mid to top end and which muffler/main jet/needle/needle clip position combo you end up with.

Shoot $299 is a STEAL for the header and assorted parts alone.. not even counting the cam !!

 

Honda is listing the 06 HRC Kit at $359.
My dealer quoted me $200 as I am buying the quad from him.
He said about 4 hours labor to install.
Ended up throwing it in with the total deal.

Honda is saying about 50 hp. with the HRC Kit.

My friend installed his 2005 Kit himself....not too hard to do.

I rode my friend's 06 450R/ER stock and it is significantly quicker that the 05 stock.

Has anyone seen any 06 450R kick start yet? I have only seen the electric start. I have heard the timing is set slightly different.

 

I would take 50hp with a grain of salt.

The 06 kick model will be out next jan or feb and be a very limited production model.
