06 TRX450R HRC Kit
Any idea how much the kit is?
Also interested in how much other shops charge to install it.
All I know if the new 2006 TRX450R STOCK is totally awesome.
This kit is scheduled to be installed tomorrow, so by tomorrow night we should be able to provide a installation/riding impression.
I think we have another one or two ON HAND - I'll check tomorrow.
Also, let me suggest that you DO RUN the Honda MOLY oil in the engine, and the normal NON-MOLY in the tranny. Two seperate oiling systems. Some shops just dump the non-moly in both, me, with the unicam head, I prefer the moly in the motor.
Ask your shop if they do that, I am interested in what other's do as well, always something better!

The kit contains a really nice new head pipe, a couple options for the rear baffle (one is AMA only), opens up the air box, new radical cam (+2.5mm intake lift and +1.95mm lift intake, revised timing), a sub harness to raise the RPM limited 1000RPM and changes the ignition curve and all the related carb tricks and settings.

Could you please post the exact cam specs for the 2006 kit that are printed in the HRC manual? I would like to compare the 2006 specs to our 2005 kit cam spec.
We ran the 2005 HRC cam for a short time them removed it. The dyno showed a nice shift in torque and horsepower to the top end, ok for motocross but it took away too much for GNCC racing.
Thanks.
