Last year, I sent the top end too TC and had the work done. This time, I am just having him send me the piston, sleeve and hardware. And I'll do the work myself. My dealer is very cool and will bore out the head, and press in the new sleeve for next too nothing.

I have never used an AMP-LINK, but I have heard more bad things than good. I know that the AMP-LINK claims too keep the power to the ground more effectively. But it is noisy, eats chains faster, and need constant tightening.
It maybe worth a try for $150 bucks. Who knows?

Last year I raced AMA District 23 HS/CC series on my EX with a complete TC motor(stock bore). I did very well, finishing 16th in points(out of 80)for the year(my very first year of racing). I even missed a few races.
Next year, I plan on attending all of the events and also racing some MX. I fell that the TC330 motor will pose more of a challenge too the Pro's that race 440's and 330r's. We will see.....

I am a few weeks away from having the machine all put back together. When I do, I will post some updated pics.

What kind of tires do you run? I run Holeshot XC's.
What kind of airfilter with that engine? I use a UNI.

Chris, you will be able to run the Blaster/Warrior class still, as the limit is 350ccs for 4 strokes

Dill,

Do you race? I plan on racing the QuadSport, 250/400, and Open classes during the MX season. My machine is not setup for MX, but would like too use it as practice for the HS/CC rounds. I like racing on MX tracks, but don't feel that it is as challenging as HS/CC(just my opinion).

I live in Rochester, and visit the Midway and Hurricane Hills tracks often. Maybe we could hookup sometime.(Bring alone Mike Frey, he is a great guy)

I have run Razr's and Holeshot's. I prefer the Holeshots for my type of riding(22" front, 20" rear).
I have not run a UNI yet. Last year I used a WB filter, but found dirt in the carb when cleaning. The WB filters went in the trash, and this year I'm going too try UNI.

I've met and ridden with Mike before..as far as Mx'ing, I've never done it before, but I did do the Akeley hare scramble...as far as racing 250/400, well whatever you want, but you can run 200/350 legally. Right now I am stuck in northern minnesota, but am hoping to move somewhere closer to the cities soon.
