Default New Rims Sizes and Tires Sizes for Recon

I have recently checked ITP's website and they said that they have a C-Series Type 7 wheel with an Limited Edition Line and they make black wheels. I am wondering if anyone has put these wheels on htere recon or has heard of them out yet. Also i would like to get the Mud-Lite XTR with the tires but they only make them in 25" or higher. Has anyone ever put 25" tires on there recon and will the tires fit with out rubbing and not have a power loose.
Thanks for the help, Chris

The stock rear tires on the Recon are 22". A jump to 25" on that little bike would rob you of a whole lot of power, and it's not like it is a big machine with lots of extra power to spare. But, I can't say I have tied it, and I'm not going to go out to the garage and throw the 25" ATR from my Ranchers onto the Recon to test it for you, but good luck anyway!

Yeah same here. They are pretty small but great tires IMHO.

However mine rub my Pro Circuit T-4 pipe a bit because of their width but oh well.

If u put 25 inch tires on a recon it would rub on the fender. i tried my dad 24's and it comes very close so 25's would more then likely rub. Another thing is that if u get these 25 inch tires and have to change the rim it might rub on your muffler.

if you put 25s on the bike id get a aftermarket air filter and jet the bike to try to regain the lost power. If was me i wouldnt jump from a 22 to 25 id try to get a 24.

I am going to put the 25" XTR's w/ class c wheel on my rancher. There will be a bit of a power loss but with the power of your rincon you should hardly notice. They will run fine on my 400 rancher. I can't wait until i can afford mine!
