Hey lovinhonda, how long have you had that Rubicon? I know you have been talking about it for sometime. How can you not have more miles on such a great atv. Also how does it compare to your 450,I have a 450es that I use on the farm to do alot of low speed grunt work and it works great.Just wondering how the rubicon would handle this kind of work.

My shift **** also came off due to screws backing out. Definately lock-tite those suckers! No other problems though with 300 miles on it.

I have not experienced any problems w/ mine. I have the HL lift kit and the fender kit installed.
I'm running Vampire's 10x12x27 on the front 12x12x27 on the rear. With the 27's I haven't rubbed the muffer guard, but they did rub the fenders until I installed the lift and fender kit. Both kits are really made well, and are well worth the money.

Hey TxDoc2, Just to tell you thats my atv, I bought it. I was told after 20 hours of use that you can start opening up. Thats the same way with the 450 Honda that my dad owns. Is this somthing I haft to worry about???

FarmKing, The Honda 450 of my dads is a really powerful bike. Now we never pulled against each other but we do no that mine can pull more. As far as features, My dad just rather ride mine because all the features it has on it. Their both great atv's and wouldnt trade them in for anything. As for the power of my Honda Rubicon, we haven't really tride to pull anything big except my dads truck that got stuck and it pulled it out with out even much hesitation, it did peal out a great deal though.

Well i'll catch ya guys later

I've had the same two issues as TEXMud. The quad will get stuck in reverse, you try to rock it and it's locked in reverse. After about "5 minutes" of thinking your gonna have to walk... it'll finally shift from reverse. As far as the headlights. They are not sealed at all. I believe I added a post when I first got my Ruby about the "non-waterproof" headlights. Riding in the rain is even condensatious (is that a word) to them. I had a bulb (not the fixture) shatter from getting wet in the cold weather. The disappointment of Honda (i'm not bashing) is that they state in the manual to turn the headlights on HI BEAM if condesation forms on the inside of the lights. That's not a good design for an offroad vehicle. Quad + Dirt = Flying Dust + Condesation = dirty headlight lense (on the inside). I still didn't make a mistake by buying it. I wouldn't trade it for any other quad out there.

Beav,

Let me know if you find an answer with the reverse deal. On the headlights, I have taken mine off and covered all seams in silicone and not had a problem since.
