I'm seriously considering putting one on mine. I talked with a guy on trx450r.org who has it on his and he says it rips!

I have the FMF Q2 with a Uni filter, Hotcam Stage II and cut open airbox lid.
I rejetted to a 185 main, up one on the pilot jet and dropped the clip on the needle to the bottom.

You put the 480 on your son's and he will blow both your Raptors away!

That is what I'm hoping for. His 450r beats a lot of quads but not my little 686. So I'm hoping this will make the difference.

I have had mine in for over 6 months and have loved every minute of it!! It is a great bolt on kit that works awesome!!
I am in the process of updating to a 14:1 piston should really rip after that!!

What did you jet yours too. We have it up and running. Middle and top end are fine but pops on deseleration. So I'm going to check the low end screw and see what it as. If out to much I have a 50 pilot ready to go in.

Well his 480 didn't beat me. My little 686 runs strong for what it is. We have some more playing to do with jetting and gearing. He has 50 pilot, HRC needle 4th clip down and 190 main which seems to be to rich on top. I have been reading alot and I see some people with 172 main. Any jetting set ups you guys have with 480s would be appreciated. He was running stock gearing, that was close and tried 13 in front did not like it. So we will try 39 rear.
