I just got my quote for a 05 Foreman 500 ES 4 x 4 for $5894 out the door (tax, title, etc.) After searching on this site, sounds like a pretty good price for a local shop within walking distance from my door. The only thing now, is how to get the little women's blessing!

Do any of you foreman owners have think it will be overkill vs. a Rancher ES? I live in town, but I have 28 acres 6 miles away that I hunt on and can play on. I would like a plow, but don't real need it, I would mostly hual deer out and pull a trailer for firewood scavenging, maybe pull a small disc for food plots.

 

That is a very good deal out the door on the ES model. I would stick with the 500. It always turns out that your searching for more power, so you might as well get it right away.
