I drilled a hole thru the skidplate to enable easier changing of oil. Drill it just big enough so as you can
start with your fingers.
Saves removing the skidplate everytime.

Past Rubicon rider, now have 05 Trail Edition,

Hope this helps.

Drilled a hole in the skid plate? what was this for?
The 2 drain holes are not the problem, it is the oil filter cover that is about the size of a can of chew.
Id say youd have to use a hole saw not a drill bit? just curious what you drilled

HI TRAILBLAZER;

We drill a pilot hole first, then used hole saw. Filter was no problem.

FYI- Another improvement on the Trail Edition, is they put a tough PVC/TEFLON skid plate,
very tough, and slides over rocks easier, no jarring or banging.
